Most people have heard of this park because of the huge role it played in the London 2012 Olympics, with the Olympic village and a huge number of competition venues hosted here.
5 years on the park is still doing amazing things and hosting a huge number of activities and programmes on the site. With 26 miles of green space to manage, Lee Valley Regional Park Authority hugely relies on the support of volunteers to help with conservation on the site and to run the activities that take place within the park every day.
Luckily they have a fantastic band of supporters who get involved in activities at a range of venues and open spaces within the park. These groups and individuals give up their free time to support the work of the park and undertake a variety of tasks, but with so much going on they always really appreciate the help of new people who want to get involved!
