Good Deed Dating is a brand new concept. This is your chance to experience dating events like never before.
Our events can be anything from gardening at a community centre to cat socialising at an animal home, cooking up a storm for a night shelter to cheering runners on at the London Marathon. You name it, we do it.
You don’t need any prior experience of volunteering or specific skills for our events. Our charity partners will teach you all you need to know. So just bring bags of enthusiasm and an open mind.
As you’ll see, our events usually take place during evenings and weekends to give you the best chance of being able to attend. We also usually give a suggested age range so that you know who to expect at the events. This doesn’t mean that you can’t come if you are older or younger, it’s merely a way of managing your expectations.
If you can’t see any activities here that take your fancy, or perhaps you have a specific charity that you would like to support, we’d love to hear from you. So get in touch and we’ll do our best to make it happen.
Summer Knees Up (this event is aimed at ages 30-45)
St Joseph’s Hospice are holding a big summer celebration and need your help! Work as a team to make sure the day is a success, and be part of an event that raises money for an amazing cause whilst meeting big-hearted singles.
Outdoor Olympic Challenge (this event is aimed at ages 20-35)
You’ll have 3 hours to work with the Lee Valley park ranger team for an intense challenge raking and clearing an important wildlife habitat, right in the middle of the London 2012 Olympics site. This will be a better workout than your gym session, and nothing says romance like a sunset meadow date after work.
Summer Farm Date (this event is aimed at ages 30-45)
Ever had a date on a farm? Channel your inner farmer, and help the farm get its visitors up close and personal with the animals. We guarantee petting goats is a lot more fun than a couple of awkward drinks in a bar, and you’ll be helping the team at the amazing Vauxhall City Farm at the same time!
GDD rounders socials are here!
Every 2nd Monday of the month we host an evening of rounders, drinks and sunshine (hopefully). This is your chance to meet some of our deeders and get active at our really relaxed and fun rounders socials.
Each month the group will choose one of our charity partners to raise money for and pay a suggested donation of £5 to join in. All you need to do is bring your own drinks and snacks and get stuck in.
Check out the video from our first social which took place on our 1st birthday.
