Good Deed Dating Events

Good Deed Dating is a brand new concept.  This is your chance to experience dating events like never before.

Our events can be anything from gardening at a community centre to cat socialising at an animal home, cooking up a storm for a night shelter to cheering runners on at the London Marathon.  You name it, we do it.

You don’t need any prior experience of volunteering or specific skills for our events.  Our charity partners will teach you all you need to know.  So just bring bags of enthusiasm and an open mind.

As you’ll see, our events usually take place during evenings and weekends to give you the best chance of being able to attend.  We also usually give a suggested age range so that you know who to expect at the events.  This doesn’t mean that you can’t come if you are older or younger, it’s merely a way of managing your expectations.

If you can’t see any activities here that take your fancy, or perhaps you have a specific charity that you would like to support, we’d love to hear from you.  So get in touch and we’ll do our best to make it happen.

The DIY Farm Challenge Date

Sunday 26th November 2017, 1-4pm, Vauxhall

Say goodbye to boring dates and HELLO to the ultimate farm challenge.

In a team of singles you’ll have just three hours to renovate an old stable and transform it into a boarding room for holiday animals at Vauxhall City Farm. We’re talking sawing wood, re-painting walls and getting your renovate on before it gets dark.

Meet Up in the Marsh Date

Saturday 2 December 2017, 9:30am – 3pm, Walthamstow

Join us for the ultimate outdoors escape date, right in the middle of Walthamstow Marsh nature reserve!

We’ve partnered with the ranger team at Lee Valley National Park Authority for a wilderness challenge that’ll have you reconnecting with nature, and connecting with like-minded singles.

In a team of singles, spend the day outdoors spreading wood-chipping, clearing ponds, and maintaining the site so it stays biodiverse. It’ll be a better workout than your gym routine, ten times more sociable, and you’ll have helped an amazing charity at the same time.

Marshmallow Meet-Up Date

Wednesday 6th December 2017, 7-10pm, Kings Cross

Eat marshmallows and drink beer, stop food waste and meet other singles!

We’ve partnered with the hero team at food-waste app OLIO and Boomf to save hundreds of marshmallow offcuts from being wasted.

In a team of singles you’ll have just three hours to package up as many marshmallows as you can ready to hand out around Kings Cross for free as a random act of kindness to brighten peoples’ days.

GDD socials are here!

We had so much fun running our rounders socials this summer! We got outside, met new people, and played rounders in the sunshine once a month in  London’s Hyde Park.

Check out the video from our first social which took place on our 1st birthday.

Now that winter is drawing in, we’re currently looking at setting up a warmer alternative to rounders while the evenings are dark and cold. Want to be the first to know when we run our first winter social? Click the link below to fill out a super quick form registering your interest and we’ll e-mail you when we’ve got the first date fixed.
